Gasket Installation Instructions

Tools / Materials:

• To complete this installation you will need glue.  We recommend a simple glue like Elmer’s Glue.
• A brush to lightly clean the surface for application.
• We recommend installing one gasket at a time.  Start with the lid, and then wait a few hours for the glue to set before beginning on the base.
• Install the gasket on top of the old gasket.  You do not have to remove the old gasket.

Installation:

1. Remove any excess or loose pieces of the original gasket.  You do not have to remove the old gasket for installation. 
2. With a brush, lightly clean the surface of the gasket and any expose ceramic area to ensure proper application of glue.
3. Start at the back of lip of the base or lid. 
   1. Apply glue around the surface of lip.
   2. Start at the back of the base or lid and apply the gasket on top of the surface.  Ensure the gasket is nice and taut, so there are no wrinkles.
   3. Once you have completed a full circle, close the lid on top of the gasket and let it set.
   4. Wait a couple of hours and apply to the remaining lid or base.
